MEDIATION COACHING
If you’re working with another mediator and want some help understanding the content areas, understanding what your rights and responsibilities are under the law, preparing for negotiations, formulating proposals to make, and considering and responding to the proposals the other person has made, I can help.
DOCUMENT REVIEW
If you have prepared documents by yourself or with another mediator, including court pleadings or agreements, and you’d like to have them independently reviewed, I can help you understand the terms and implications of those terms, make suggestions for edits, and ensure that the documents are complete and accurate.
COLLABORATIVE LAW
UNCONTESTED MATTERS
I offer legal representation to parties wishing to participate in the collaborative law process for family matters. In collaborative law, each party wishes to resolve their matters respectful and not to litigate at court. Each party then hires their own collaborative law attorney who agrees to represent the client through the negotiation process to settlement. In the event that one or both parties decides instead to litigate, they must hire a new attorney at that point. The collaborative process can include working as part of a team including both attorneys, a mediator, a child consultant, a financial consultant, coaches, and others as a given family might need.
If you are filing a dissolution, custody or parenting time action, or a modification of a prior judgment, and you know that the other party will not contest what you are asking for, I can help you talk through the elements of the matter, draft your pleadings, and file the matter at court.
