SERVICE LOCATION

I provide services either remotely via my HIPAA-compliant Zoom room or in person at my office in inner SE Portland. The location is chiefly based on client preference and occasionally by professional recommendation. Clients wishing remote services should have a device on which they can operate Zoom, a reliable internet connection, and a private location from which to meet within the state of Oregon.

CLIENT PORTAL

Clients should have the ability to interact with me via my client portal, which can be accessed on a computer or smartphone. From the portal clients can view my calendar, request appointments, complete forms, message with me, receive and upload documents, make payments and view payment documents including superbills where applicable.

PAYMENT

Payment is due at the end of each session and will generally be processed promptly. Clients must keep a working credit card on file with me at all times. 

RATES

In order to model transparency in my professional practice and to promote your fully informed consent to services, I provide my fee information online:

  • Therapy (Individual Therapy, Couple Therapy and Family Therapy, both court-ordered and non-court affliated)

    • $210 for a 50 minute session 

    • $250 for a 51-60 minute session 

    • $250/hr for all other services, prorated 

  • Parent Coordination 

    • $3,000 retainer paid upon engagement

    • $300/hr shared between PCs (no change)

  • Family Mediation (not court related)

    • $250/hr 

  • Family Law Mediation (pre-filing: when a case has not yet been filed at court)

    • $275/hr

    • $950 pleading package

    • Note that there is an additional filing fee assessed by the court for an initial action

  • Family Law Mediation (post-filing: when a case has already been opened at court)

    • $325/hr

    • Note that there may be an additional filing fee assessed by the court

  • Legal Consultation

    • $275/hr

  • Collaborative Family Law Representation

    • $325/hr

Rates are reviewed annually and rate increases typically occur on January 1st. Notice of rate increases are delivered no later than December 1st.

INSURANCE

I do not bill insurance companies directly.  I can provide clients a superbill for individual therapy only, and only where it is clinically justified in that the service is medically necessary to treat the mental health diagnosis of the client. I am an "out of plan provider" rather than a "panel provider.”

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

If you are uninsured, or insured but not using your insurance to pay for therapy, federal law gives you the right to a written estimate of what your therapy will cost before you receive it. You do not have to ask for it. When you schedule therapy with me, I give you a written estimate, and you will have it before we begin.
