Is mediation for me?  Should I hire a lawyer? How do I choose a mediator? What do I need to know?

In this confidential, inexpensive 1 hour session, Lauren can answer these and other questions that arise for parties facing divorce or separation and who are exploring their options and seeking to become informed consumers and participants in solving their family conflicts. 

Lauren can lend her depth and breadth of expertise to parties exploring the best options for themselves as they consider various options such as hiring a lawyer or representing themselves, participating in mediation, collaborative law, and/or seeking the advice of related professionals such as therapists and child custody evaluators.

 

Mediation Coaching

How should I prepare for mediation?  What do I do next?  How do I make mediation really work well?  

Parties in mediation can benefit from additional one-on-one coaching to help them organize their thoughts, documents and other materials, develop and refine proposals, consider responses, and weigh options.  In this service, where parties are working with a mediator other than Lauren, Lauren can assist one party to a mediation use mediation more effectively, often saving time, money and sanity.

 

What does it cost?

Orientation is $80.00 for a one hour session.  Mediation Coaching is $120.00 for a one hour session. Reduced fees and payment arrangements are negotiable.
